For the president of the Mutual, Serges Abissa, celebrating the best GESTOCI agents means giving the company the means to move forward.

Word to the 4 GESTOCI Laureates

“I am moved by this mark of recognition for the work accomplished. This leads me to work harder to always earn the trust of my superiors. I have been at GESTOCI since September 2014. My task is to prepare declarations in the various regimes (IM4: Release for consumption, IM7: Warehouse, IM 8: Shipping by PIPE, EX3: Foreign shipment (inter-land ), entry of BLP (Petroleum Products Delivery Notes, etc ...). My collaboration with my colleagues is perfect. With this distinction, I am now one of the model workers of the company. However, it recommends that I stay better and to reach other milestones. A model worker is one whose merit inspires others. As such, I would like to encourage my colleagues to work with love and ardor. To give the best of themselves, not only for the good functioning of GESTOCI, but also for their personal well-being. Because a job well done is always recognized. Regarding the future of GESTOCI, given the efforts of each other, GESTOCI will experience a great development which will still serve the country of the West African subregion. With such momentum, GESTOCI will go beyond the borders of the sub-region and gain international fame. ".

“I never expected this Award, considering that every day that God does, I only give myself to the job I am paid for. I admit that it was with immense joy that I welcomed this Prize. But at the same time, I realize that I am working harder to earn this Award, so that I can be given other responsibilities. My feelings of gratitude to the Director General, the Deputy Director General, the Director of Human Resources (HRD) and all the staff of GESTOCI. I joined GESTOCI on May 17, 2010, as a human resources officer. Currently, I am a Payroll Assistant. My job is to process, in general, the salaries of agents and to ensure that their contribution to the National Social Security Fund (CNPS) is taken into account for retirement. My collaboration with all the staff is perfect and good-natured. To be a model worker in a business, I think it's up to the employee to do their job conscientiously. So I invite each of us to do what we have to do, keeping in sight the objectives defined by the hierarchy. This is how you get better. For the future, I see a larger GESTOCI, with more storage capacity. For this, I would like to see the completion of the Ferkessédougou and San-Pedro deposits, as well as the rehabilitation of the Bouaké one. With dynamic agents, I dare to believe that GESTOCI will deserve more than the certification of ISO 901. Thank you all. And may God watch over us and our business ”.

“These are feelings of pride and joy stemming from the recognition of a duty accomplished. Beyond myself, it is the remarkable performance achieved by the entire Regional Management (DR) team in general and the Operations Department in particular that are recognized. It has been 6 years, precisely since February 1, 2014, that I was assigned to GESTOCI Yamoussoukro. GESTOCI Yamoussoukro is a very dynamic team that constantly transcends itself to improve its performance. I run the service which is responsible for the physical handling of petroleum products on the depot. This takes into account the management of supplies (Receptions), removals (Loading of tanker trucks) and storage (Ensure the preservation of the quality of stored products and control the deviations resulting from daily material balances). For me, it is also about creating a conducive working environment that allows operating agents to give the best of themselves. At the relational level, he breathes an air of brotherhood and friendship between us. I approach my colleagues with humility and attention. I also know how to be firm when I firmly believe that the best interests of the company are threatened. I remain convinced that after the effort, there is always the reward. Therefore, I would like to urge my colleagues to fulfill their duty by constantly prioritizing the interests of GESTOCI. They also have to challenge themselves often to perfect what is good and improve what is less. I also suggest to them the practice of Positive Mental Attitude (PMA), in order to approach the hard days of work with enthusiasm and liveliness. For the future, I plan to make my department an example in terms of both quality of performance and organization. The Operations department and its teams receive a lot of compliments, but I firmly believe that we can do more. Regarding the Yamoussoukro depot, it is already an essential link in the economy of our country with supplies to the Center, North and West areas of Côte d'Ivoire and part of Mali. Its performance, since the arrival of the hinterland, has been measured on an international scale with a turnover rate of over 18 in 2019. In the years to come, I think it will be even more radiant because we intend to raise the next challenges. In particular, the certification, the reception of tanks from Burkina Faso and the significant increase in the market share of Mali, which collects at the Yamoussoukro depot. GESTOCI will be a company that will undoubtedly be the pride of Côte d'Ivoire on the sub-regional, continental and even global level in the field of the storage of petroleum products ".

“This award is a source of encouragement and motivation for me. I also derive moral satisfaction from it. I thank God for this distinction. I dedicate it to the General Management and to the Regional Management. I would like to express my gratitude to the members of the jury, to the president of the Mutual for initiating this Award of Excellence, as well as to the General Management and the Regional Management. But at the same time, this award now forces me to redouble my efforts to earn the trust placed in myself. It also creates emulation among the staff. I encourage my colleagues and collaborators to persevere in the effort so that everyone can one day win this award. Only work pays. No matter the weather. You have to love your work and do it with selflessness and dedication. It has been almost 7 years since I was transferred to GESTOCI Yamoussoukro, notably since July 31, 2012, as head of security intervention. Since February 17, 2014, I have been appointed Prevention / Intervention foreman. Regarding prevention, my job is to ensure that the safety instructions at the Yamoussoukro depot are respected. This is done by educating users and also staff on the depot. In terms of intervention, I devote myself to the preparation and execution of accident and fire drills according to the schedule set by the safety department and also to produce the various reports. I also work to ensure the maintenance and use of the depot's firefighting equipment. I also look at the administration and archiving of the security department. All this is done through good daily collaboration between agents. GESTOCI Yamoussoukro represents a challenge. From 2012 to 2019 and now in 2020, I saw the deposit take off thanks to the determination and managerial courage of the managers and the daily work of the agents. The coming years augur well for a flourishing future for GESTOCI Yamoussoukro in terms of the projects in progress. So that in addition to the Abidjan depot, GESTOCI becomes a key company in the sub-region and why not on the continent and in the world. ".
