| SUPPLY OF THE AIRPORT DEPOT BY JET A1 The Joint Inspection Group (JIG) awards the rating <<Satisfactory>>

Célébration de la mention satisfactory avec le DGA Nina Keïta

In October 2019, GESTOCI obtained a “Satisfactory” rating following the inspection carried out by “Joint Inspection Group (JIG)” on October 23 and 24, 2019. GESTOCI's “Satisfactory” rating is historic insofar as where, since the 90s, it is the very first time that the management of JET A1 operations at GESTOCI is certified in accordance with the rigor of JIG and the international standards of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Air Transport Association of America (ATA). From now on, the name of GESTOCI is registered on the platform www.jigonline.com. This demonstrates to the whole world (over 100 JIG member organizations, over 100 countries and over 2,500 airports / sites) its professionalism in supplying any other airport depot with JET A1. This good image that GESTOCI gives to the world of aviation is the result of the strong involvement of its teams, the commitment of its General Management and the supervision of the General Directorate of Hydrocarbons (DGH). It is above all the fruit of the leadership and vision of the Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energies, Abdourahmane Cissé, who, upon his appointment, showed his ambition to raise GESTOCI deposits to international standards. This performance relative to the JET A1 must be maintained with the aim of obtaining a "GOOD" rating at the next JIG inspection.

The JIG

Founded in the early 1970s, JIG is the world leader in the development of aviation fuel supply standards. It covers the entire jet fuel supply chain, from the refinery to the aircraft tank. The excellence of JIG standards has been recognized by IATA and ATA. The marks likely to be obtained at the end of a JIG inspection are "Good" (excellent mastery of procedures and product quality control, evidence of good HSE performance), "Satisfactory" (no deviations in the Quality and on HSE issues) and "Less Than Satisfactory" (operations show signs of failure in meeting Quality and HSE standards).
